For those visiting the area for hill walking, cycling or even skiing, Blindwelleyes is a comforting space to return to after a day of adventure. Our unique and joyous décor is captivated by the morning sun, offering a bright and welcoming space to our guests.
Inside you will find a spacious one bedroom cottage which bright, lively decor throughout. The bedroom has a large queen sized bed with ample storage space for clothing, plus some drying racks for clothes and shoes if you have been walking in the hills. The living room has one large sofa with a log burning fire place and a tv for entertainment. The kitchen is well equipped with a modern oven and stove, plus all of the necessary amenities like a kettle, toaster, kitchen wear, cutlery etc. We have two dog bowls for your furry friends and ample outdoor space to allow them to roam freely in the Perthshire hills.
The property is completely isolated and you will be able to enjoy a completely private experience. The property next door is also owned by ourselves and is not rented out while we have guests at Blindwelleyes, so you will be able to enjoy the complete tranquillity yourselves.
Located nearby to the quaint rural village of Alyth, and just a 10 minute drive from Blairgowrie, Blindwelleyes Cottage boasts a truly spectacular view of Perthshire and her rolling hills.
Surrounded by greenery, you are close enough to all of the local amenities, but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet of rural Scotland. The cottage is located about a mile up a farm track into the gorgeous Perthshire hills. Escape from the hustle and bustle of city life and enjoy the serenity of quiet evenings along with those you care about most.
The village of Alyth is host to many small grocers, fish and chip shops, bakers and pubs making it the perfect choice should you need to pick up any shopping or enjoy a nice meal out. The Lands of Loyal Hotel boasts a delicious afternoon tea, and the Alyth fish and chip shop is one of the best in the area.
The town of Blairgowrie is the place to go for shopping, knick-knacks and an all round lovely day out. There are a number of wonderful restaurants such as The Dalmore, Little’s Restaurant and The Cateran Café as well as a large Tesco Supermarket – perfect for stocking up for home cooking.
